Our growing network connects and reflects the rich diversity of Ottawa basketball. OBN bridges non-profit basketball clubs, community organizations, under-represented groups, and other stakeholders to grow the game, promote access and build people.
OBN is the non-profit voice of Ottawa basketball. Canada’s most inclusive and diverse sport needs all levels of government to adopt policies and funding models that allow community basketball organizations to build capacity for growth demands and safe sport. All youth deserve fair and equitable access to the joy of community basketball.
OBN works as a “solutions partner” to enhance the capacity of basketball organizations to carry out their mandates. We develop strategies to manage public facilities more equitably and efficiently, and champion efforts to build and re-purpose new spaces for basketball.
